The Revine Lakes Loop is an easy and much-loved hiking trail that winds around two glacial lakes, Lake Lago (or Lake Santa Maria) and Lake Revine, located in the Treviso Prealps in Veneto.
The route is ideal for everyone, including families and those seeking a relaxing walk, given its generally easy difficulty level and very minimal elevation gain.
The entire loop covers an estimated distance of approximately 7 km and takes approximately 2 hours to complete, following well-maintained trails, dirt paths and some short paved sections, and is always well signposted.
Among the main points of interest along the route is the Livelet Archaeological Educational Park, an evocative reconstructed pile-dwelling village on the lake shores, open during high season, and the possibility of swimming in the lakes during the summer months.
Additionally, the trail offers picturesque views and passes through rural areas and the hamlet of Fratta (Tarzo), known for its “Street of Murals.” For those wishing to take a short scenic detour, it is possible to reach the Big Bench, a giant bench offering spectacular views of the surrounding area.
