The Trodo degli Oratori (or Path of the Oratories) is a hiking route of religious and naturalistic character that winds through the hills of Valdobbiadene, in the heart of the Prosecco Hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The route begins in Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene and follows an ancient path that climbs through vineyards and woods toward Pian di Farnè, reaching a significant elevation.
The route is marked by trail marker 1014 and is distinguished by the presence of small chapels or oratories that punctuate the path, bearing witness to deep popular devotion and the historical connection between faith and rural life.
A fundamental point of interest is the area of the Casa degli Eremiti (House of the Hermits), once a refuge for people devoted to prayer, active until the mid-twentieth century.
Nearby is the Fontanèl di Sant’Alberto, a spring to which popular tradition attributed powers related to the birth of children.
This “trodo,” a dialect term indicating a path or mule track, offers not only a spiritual experience but also the opportunity to admire the typical pre-Alpine landscape and enjoy sweeping panoramic views over the Valdobbiadene valley.
